1970's1973 — ENI is founded in New Jersey by Lloyd and Marlene Ferguson
Publishes "How To" manuals and sponsors workshops on individualized instruction/ management techniques
1978 — ENI Moves to Arizona and Focuses on Technology
Introduces ENI's first computer managed instruction program on a Victor Advanced Calculator.
1980-1985 — New Market
ENI develops CMI software programs for CDC, and the first "deep" alignment for ASU.
1986 — Jamie Piotti Arrives at ENI
Jamie immerses herself in all aspects of the business.
1987 — ENI Develops Unique "deep" 5-Step Curriculum Model
Dr. Gary Smith gives ENI's Project Basic program a new name, TargetTeach®.
1990 — Broader Inservices and More Sophisticated Software
Fill the Gaps and Technical Training is developed.
1994 — Jamie Piotti Promoted to President
Company releases TTVII version of software.
1996 — ENI Develops its First Website
1997 — Jamie Piotti Purchases ENI from its Founder
1998 — Growth & Product Line Expansion
ENI builds new offices and creates Assessment Department. TargetAssessment™ is introduced. TTVIII software is released. Contracts with Milwaukee Public Schools and Columbus City School District.
1999 — Continued Growth & Product Line Expansion
TargetStrategies™ is launched. Contracts with New Orleans Public Schools. The Foundation for Educational Opportunity is born.
2000 — ENI Moves to Arizona and Focuses on Technology
TargetFundamentals™ and Parent Assisted Learning (PAL) Packets™ are launched. Grant Writing Department is established. Contracts with Pomona Unified School District. First annual TargetTeach® customer retreat is held.
2001 — ENI Releases TTIX Version of Software
2002 — Leadership Promotions
Jamie Piotti becomes CEO. Tami Zale becomes President.
2003 — Exciting Changes
New building. Regionalized sales force. ENI begins ASU research projects.
2004 — Introduction of Coaching
Coaching offerings are introduced in Lorain, OH, and Bronx, NY. Major projects launched in Pomona, CA; Lorain, OH; Columbus, OH; Red Bank, NJ; Warren, NC; and Zion, IL
2005 — Release of First Web-Based Version of Software, iTargetTeach®
Contract with Tulsa Public Schools. New projects in Hazel Crest, IL; Assumption and Iberia, LA; Sapulpa, OK; and Dinuba, CA.
2006 — New Customers are Added. Existing Customer Expands
ENI adds West Long Branch, NJ;Clayton County, GA; Lake Forest Charter; LA; West Harvey-Dixmoor, IL. Tulsa project expands.
2007 — Activities
New customers of note: Utica, MI; Alliance for College-Ready Public Schools, CA; Richland 1, SC. SES Provider: Alternatives Unlimited. Business Development: Riverside Publishing; PLATO Learning; Datawise.
2008 — Symposiums Increased to Three Times a Year.
Continued growth with Tulsa, Richland 1. New customers: Broward, FL; Lansing, MI; Little Rock, AR; Danville, IL; Calumet Park, IL; Country Club Hills, IL; Nashville, TN; Pasco County, FL.
2009 — Activities
New customers: Caddo, LA; Proviso Township HS, IL. Business Development: Teacher Created Resources
